The road to March Madness is well underway as 64 conference tournament champions will soon emerge in college basketball, with each earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. This year, 32 men's and 32 women's teams will secure their spots in the coveted tournament by winning their respective conference championships.

The Ohio Valley conference will kick off the excitement by awarding the first automatic bids to both the men's and women's NCAA Tournaments on Saturday, March 9. The tournaments will be held at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. Meanwhile, other conferences such as the Big Ten and SEC will have their tournaments decided on Selection Sunday, just hours before the tournament brackets are revealed.
